What are the best space savers?

From our experience, the ½ hanging component (as shown above) is the best space saver for wardrobes. It gives double the amount of hanging area that would normally be used for a single hanging rod and is perfect for shirts, skirts, jackets and many other items.
The suspended wardrobe system available from Spacemaker is also an excellent space saver. It maximises the use of all available space within a wardrobe opening, leaves space underneath the wardrobe to store additional items and allows for easy, fuss-free cleaning!
Do your wardrobes have backs?
Spacemaker Wardrobes do not have any backs. The existing walls / gyprock will be seen. It is very important to prepare your wardrobe walls / repair any damage, and paint the walls prior to installation of the wardrobes.
Are your wardrobes suspended off the wall?
Spacemaker Wardrobes built in wardrobes are suspended off the wall. Our stand alone wardrobe system is not suspended off the walls.
What kind of whiteboard and edging do you use?
Spacemaker Wardrobes use the highest quality moisture resistant white board with matching 1mm PVC edging.

Spacemaker Wardrobes does accept credit card payments. Payments can be made via our website through our online store. Currently, we use PayPal for processing our online payments.

Installing Your New Wardrobe
How do I remove my old wardrobes / wardrobe doors?
Spacemaker Wardrobes have developed guides for removing your existing wardrobes and doors, and repairing the walls. Please visit our Resource Centre to view the information.
What is involved in installing my new wardrobes?
Installing your DIY wardrobes is easy with Spacemaker Wardrobes. The installation process involves:
- Assembling the wardrobe components (fixing the drawer / shelf units together, fixing rod holders onto gables)
- Cutting your top shelf and rail to the correct size
- Fixing the rail to the wall
- Hanging the wardrobe in place
Can I get someone else to install my wardrobes?
Spacemaker Wardrobes does provide installation services in the South East Queensland region. For installation in other areas, we recommend you contact a local handyman or carpenter.
Can I install my wardrobes myself?
The Spacemaker Wardrobes system is designed to be fully DIY. Providing you have the correct tools, you can install your wardrobes yourself.
